Hello, my name is Georgia and I'm a director, writer and theatre maker and I specialise in new writing, comedy, family shows and devised theatre.

My work is fun, silly, comical, imaginative, sometimes tragic, often personal, and always playful. It usually involves some element of clown, be it a full clown show or a spark of playfulness and anarchy within a theatre piece.

I studied Theatre and English at Leeds University and trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

I have collaborated with artists such as CalMcCrystal, Marcello Magni and am an Associate Artist with Spymonkey.

Current projects:

I am currently working with Damien Warren-Smith AKA Garry Starr on his third clown show "Classic Penguins" at Soho Theatre and Edinburgh 2024.

A Finnish translation of my first family clown show: Dr Zeigal, Dr Zeiffal and the Hippo that can Never be Caught!  is currently playing in Finland in collaboration with Kotka City Theatre.

Recent projects:

2022-2024 I was the Associate Director at The Octagon Theatre, Bolton where I directed the Octagon's joyful new musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Kate Ferguson and Susannah Pearse.

At the Octagon I supported the Artistic Director Lotte Wakeham in the direction of One Man Two Guvnors, the new musical adaptation of The Book Thief and Spring and Port Wine. I also produced their first Family Outdoor Festival, New Work Festival, managed Artist Development and deputised for the Artistic Director.
